Brief & Asset
Collection

You share your product details, reference materials, CAD files, or photos. We ask the right questions upfront — dimensions, target audience, language requirements, brand guidelines — so nothing is left to assumption.

Structure &
Storyboard

We map the full assembly sequence before a single illustration is drawn. Every step is planned, ordered, and reviewed for logic and safety before design begins.

Illustration
& Layout

Our illustrators build each step from scratch. Layouts are developed in parallel — typography, spacing, icons, and hierarchy — all aligned to your brand or our premium house style.

Print Review
& Delivery

Final files are checked for bleed, folds, colour accuracy, and print production readiness before delivery. You receive everything you need to go straight to your printer or digital platform.

You receive a complete draft for review.
We incorporate your feedback with precision through
up to two structured revision rounds, ensuring every detail is exactly right.

The moment a customer opens your packaging is the moment your brand either earns their loyalty or loses it. A confusing, poorly designed assembly manual creates frustration before the product even works.

Opacity Visuals designs assembly manuals that guide users through every step with absolute clarity — precise illustrations, logical sequencing, and a visual language that feels as premium as the product itself. The result: fewer support calls, fewer returns, and customers who feel confident and cared for from the very first step.

FAQ

Most assembly manual projects are completed within 7–14 business days from the point of receiving all required assets and a confirmed brief. Complex multi-step products or multi-language manuals may require additional time. We’ll give you a clear timeline at the start of every project.

Ideally: your product (or product photos), any existing documentation, your brand guidelines, and your target languages. If you don’t have CAD files or technical drawings, we can work from high-quality reference photos. The more we have to start with, the faster and more accurate the result.

All projects include print-ready PDF files. Depending on your package, you may also receive interactive digital PDFs and the original source files (Adobe Illustrator or InDesign). We discuss file requirements at the brief stage.

Yes. If you have established brand guidelines — colour palette, typefaces, iconography — we will design within that system. If you’re starting fresh, we apply our premium house style, which you’re welcome to adopt or adapt.

Both. We can work with translations you provide, or coordinate professional translation on your behalf. Either way, we manage the multilingual layout ourselves to ensure no quality is lost in typesetting.
